Gain community, skills, new connections and make a difference.

The Red Cross Geek Group at the Workers’ Museum brings generations together for geek work. Here we meet to share knowledge and joy while creating something tangible to benefit the vulnerable and disadvantaged. What’s more, crafting is both smart and meditative!

You are welcome to join the community regardless of your skills. It’s free to participate – just sign up here and bring yourself and your creative hands, and we’ll provide materials and good company!

Among other things, the geeks produce teddy bears that are given to children of prisoners or socks for the homeless, but they are also challenged by Red Cross campaigns or by the Workers’ Museum. For example, the museum needs to make new clothes for the 30s environment in the Children’s Labor Museum. In addition, we make dishcloths for the Workers’ Museum and Red Cross shops, where all proceeds go to Red Cross relief work both in Denmark and around the world.
