Welcome to Wiki Writing Rooms, where you can help write more women into history!
We continue the great collaboration with Wikimedia Denmark and other cultural institutions to focus on important women from cultural and art history. In the spring of 2026, we will meet once again here at the Workers’ Museum, SMK, The Hirschsprung Collection, The Nivaagaard Collection, The Royal Library and the University of Copenhagen Amager.
You are invited around the table with volunteers from the Wiki Labs Culture community. Here you will be trained to use Wikipedia and learn how your resources can come into play and contribute to our online encyclopedia.
It’s archivism, and it works!

How we work
At the Workers’ Museum, this season we continue to work with the women from labor history that we have created on Wikipedia. We’re writing biographical sections, finding references and creating
links that can enrich the individual entries.among the women who now have an article on Danish Wikipedia are Augusta Jørgensen, Nina Andersen, Karen Smith, Edith Olsen, Ragnhild Andersen and many more!
We look forward to seeing you in a cozy and nerdy community around history.
