Exercises to go

Want to get started with democratic pedagogy in your own practice? On this page, you can dive into selected exercises, models and approaches from the Workers’ Museum’s teaching practice in connection with the special exhibition AKTIVIST, which was at the museum from 2021-2022. There are generic models that you can use no matter what theme or topic you are working with. And there are situated models that you can use if you are working with activism as content. All models are printable and come with a teacher’s guide.

Association exercise The association exercise is a generic exercise based on the students themselves, their preconceptions and the associations that come to mind within the respective topic or theme you are working on.
